Ziplines

Chimney Rock
State Park
Chimney Rock Management was formed in 2007, but our roots go back over 100 years as former employees of the Morse family who owned and operated the Park for ten decades. When the family sold the land to the state of North Carolina in the early 2000s, many dedicated employees stayed on to help usher in a new era of conservation, education, and excellent guest experiences in partnership with NC State Parks.

Landrum
Landrum’s mild climate and natural beauty attracts visitors of varying recreational interests. Golfing is available at many fine courses in the area, while boaters and water enthusiasts can enjoy Lake Bowen or Lake Lanier, both just minutes from downtown Landrum. Cycling, hiking, and horseback riding are also popular activities in the area. With the home of the Annual Blockhouse Steeplechase also just five minutes from downtown Landrum, equestrian activities and horse farms are evident throughout this community and region. Equestrian trails and hiking trails are provided at F.E.N.C.E. (Foothills Equestrian and Nature Center). In addition, a variety of nature oriented programs abound here which include bird watching, nature photography, and star gazing. The Palmetto Trail (a mountains to the sea trail that traverses South Carolina) and many local favorites like Bradley Falls and Pearson Falls provide additional hiking activities for the outdoor enthusiast.

Flat
Rock
The entire district of Flat Rock is included in the National Register of Historic Places. Historic Flat Rock is home to several attractions such as: The Flat Rock Playhouse, State Theatre of NC; the Carl Sandburg Home NHS; and St. John in the Wilderness Episcopal Church as well as many unique specialty shops, restaurants, and enterprises. The buildings along Greenville Highway are painted in lively pastel colors, very similar to the famous Rainbow Row in downtown Charleston. Many of Flat Rock's attractions may be found along Greenville Highway (Hwy. 225), approximately 3 miles from Downtown Hendersonville.

Mountain Brook Vineyards
The first grapes were planted at Mountain Brook in 2002. The winery was established in 2012, and the vineyard and a tasting room opened to the public in 2013. Vickie and Jonathan Redgrave acquired the property in 2018 and began modernizing and expanding the winery and vineyard, with the goal of creating an exceptional winery experience for guests from around the world.

Iron Key
Brewing Company
While raising a pint in 2018, three guys shared their love of the beverage and the types they liked. One was a craft beer brewmaster, one was a bar maestro, and one had recently bought a former North Carolina Prison. The night’s discussion “of perfect brews and perfect places to enjoy them” ended with a pact to create exactly that.

Tryon
The quaint Village of Tryon is located on the first rise of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Tryon is known for its wonderful people, outdoor activities, mild climate, small town shops, great restaurants and a rich equestrian history. Typically, quirkiness is regarded as intangible, but in Tryon’s case it is palpable. Our friendly, offbeat personality is a big part of what makes us who we are. This is a town of unexpected nooks teeming with a cast of characters that even Garrison Keillor would have had trouble imagining.

Overmountain Vineyards
Overmountain Vineyards (OMV) is a family run winery situated on a 70-acre family-owned farm in the Tryon Foothills of Polk County, NC. Winemakers Frank Lilly and his daughter, Sofia, create handcrafted and distinctive French-style wines primarily from their 18 acres of their own estate-grown fruit.
