Glamping, short for “glamorous camping,” lets you enjoy the outdoors with all the comforts of your favorite hotel. At Wheat Creek Outpost, our climate-controlled tents feature king-size beds with cozy linens, full bathrooms, and kitchenettes, all in stylish interiors, allowing you to connect with nature without sacrificing comfort. It’s the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.

• 30 days or more before arrival: Full refund, minus a 3% payment processing fee.

• 29-15 days before arrival: 50% refund.

• 14 days or less before arrival: Non-refundable.

• No shows or failure to modify your reservation will result in no refund.

Please note, we do not offer refunds or exceptions for inclement weather, as part of the Wheat Creek experience is embracing nature, from warm summer days to crisp winter nights.

That said, we understand that life happens. If you need to adjust your reservation, give us a call, we’re reasonable and will do our best to work something out.

We have a two-night minimum stay on weekends. If you’re interested in booking a single night during the week, just send us a message or give us a call,we’re happy to accommodate when possible.

Absolutely! Wheat Creek Outpost is perfect for a group getaway with friends or family. Renting both tents gives you private access to all 30 acres, including the camp lodge. We even offer a 10% group discount, just reach out, and we can block your dates. When you book the entire camp, children are welcome, unlike single-tent bookings, which are adults only.

Yes and no. Wheat Creek is primarily designed for adults seeking rest and relaxation, so if you’re booking a single tent, it’s for adults only. However, if you’re traveling with a group or family and rent the camp (two tents), kids are welcome. You can even set up additional tents if children want their own mini campout, just bring your own cots and bedding for extra guests. Parents are responsible for their children’s safety, as some areas of the property are not suitable for kids.

Yes! We welcome dogs of all sizes for a small fee. No more than 2 pups per tent. We ask that pets be house-trained and not prone to chewing, as tent canvas and screens are delicate and cannot be easily replaced. Dogs cannot be left unattended inside the tents, even in a crate, at any time. We also ask that you avoid bringing dogs with excessive barking, to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests.

Yes. We offer complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the camp, perfect for working remotely or staying connected, if you choose to be!

The tents at Wheat Creek come equipped with everything you need—and more—for a comfortable stay.

Each tent includes:

• A fully stocked kitchenette with flatware, silverware, grilling tools, microwave, Breville Smart Oven, coffee maker (with pods, pour-over option, coffee, sugar, and creamer), propane grill, and even the option to cook over the fire pit.

• Cooking essentials like salt, pepper, and cooking spray.

• A full refrigerator and freezer, plus wine and bourbon glasses for relaxing evenings.

• Fine linens, including soft sheets, plush towels, and cozy bathrobes.

• Bathroom essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.

• Wool blankets for staying warm by the fire, plus books and games in each tent and the camp lodge.

• An electric fireplace for extra comfort.

• Lanterns to navigate camp at night.

• Lighter for fire pit.

Note: TVs are not standard but can be added upon request at no additional cost.

We prepare your camp with firewood, fire starter, a lighter, and a water bucket for safely extinguishing your fire. Your fire pit will be ready to light when you arrive. If you need additional wood during your stay, just let us know—we’re happy to deliver additional firewood for a small fee.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out can be requested, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

We offer contactless check-in, with gate and door codes sent to you in advance. If you’d like a personal greeting and tour of the property, just let us know, we’re happy to welcome you in person when we can.
